To our valued guests,

On November 18, Kewadin Casinos voluntarily closed to assist with slowing the spread of COVID-19 within our communities. As planned, we will be reopening all five casinos on December 9th at 9 a.m. and we are excited to see you all.

Our reopening Casino hours are as follows:

Sault & St. Ignace will open daily from 7 a.m. – 3 a.m.

Hessel
Sun. – Thurs. 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Fri. & Sat. 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.

Manistique and Christmas
Sun. – Thurs. 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Fri. & Sat. 10 a.m. – midnight

If you have visited one of our casinos since we reopened in June, you will have found that we strictly adhere to the many safety measures and guidelines we put in place to keep our team members and communities safe.  These guidelines will remain in place when we reopen.

Our gaming floors will remain at a reduced occupancy to allow for social distancing, all guests and team members must have temperature checks upon entry, masks must be worn properly, our housekeeping team will constantly clean touched surfaces and all gaming floors will be closed nightly for additional specialized sanitization. We have decided to take further measures by not immediately reopening our Table Games or the DreamCatchers and Horseshoe Bay Restaurants. Kewadin will also not be offering sit-down service in our bars and limiting hotel occupancy to 25%.

Kewadin was fortunate to have been able to use available funding to provide touchless sinks at all casinos and hotels and, most importantly, to install new, state-of-the-art HVAC at all our casinos which is slated to be completed soon.

There are many other steps that we have taken that you may not see as well.  We have canceled all casino events including concerts until sometime in 2021, limited community events to lower than state recommended sizes, and since opening we have not been allowing motorcoach group visits and that restriction remains in place for the remainder of the year.  Our management works with, and regularly meets, with public health officials to ensure that we are continuing to exceed the recommended guidelines and are up-to-date on the evolving COV-id 19 protocols’.  As a committed community partner, we have hosted and volunteered at several COVID-19 testing events.

We will continue to review these standards, make adjustments as they are needed and provide you with a safe, responsible and FUN gaming experience.

Respectfully,

Allen Kerridge
Kewadin Casinos CEO
