Keno Tournament Rules

Sault Ste. Marie
 
Friday & Sunday Chip Tournament
  1. Keno Kick off Tournament will start on Friday night at 7:00 pm
  2. Sunday tournament will begin at 9:00 am
  3. Each tournament player will be issued $500 in Keno tournament chips for both Friday night and Sunday morning, to play as part of their tournament package.
  4. The Friday and Sunday prize pool will each be $3,000.
  5. The Friday and Sunday tournament will each consist of 20 consecutive games.
  6. Each customer must play at least $5.00 games and book 5 games at a time.
  7. The tournament would be played on a point system.
  8. Keno tickets bought with Keno tournament chips will have no cash value.
  9. All Keno chips must be turned in at the end of the tournament.
  10. There will be no refund for unused Keno chips.
  11. Kewadin Keno chips may not be redeemed as cash or casino gaming chips
  12. Customers would earn points for winning tickets not cash.
  13. Each customer’s points would be added for all games played from winning tickets for the 20 games played.
  14. The 10 tournament players with the highest points would win a share of the Friday’s $3000 prize pool.
  15. The 10 tournament players with the highest points would win a share of Sunday’s $3000 prize pool
  16. 1st place-$800, 2nd place-$650, 3rd place-$500, 4th-place-$350, 5th place-$200 and 6th -10th place-$100.
  17. Every customer would have exactly the same chance to win part of the prize pool.
  18. Any ties will result in the prize money being split between the players involved in the tie.
  19. Once a tournament ticket (s) has been booked and the first game has been run, the ticket cannot be quit raced.
  20. All other Keno rules and procedures apply to contest play.

Promotions may be cancelled at Management’s discretion.
Promotions cannot be changed without prior approval by the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Gaming Commission.
Must be 19 years of age or older to participate.
Must be present to win.

Saturday Live Tournament

  1. $9,000 prize pool 
  2. Tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday 80 consecutive games will be played.
  3. The tournament players with the five highest scores from all 80 games played will win a share of the prize pool.
  4. Playing tickets for someone else is prohibited.
  5. Live format:  Players will use their own money and keep the winnings and compete for the prize pool.
  6. Any ties will result in the prize money being split between the players involved in the tie.
  7. Cumulative amounts won during tournament play will be used to determine cash prize winners.
  8. There will be a five (5) game minimum on all tickets purchased.
  9. There will be a maximum of ten (10) tickets for each game.
  10. The minimum bet is one dollar ($1) per game for each of the 80 games
  11. To qualify for any of the prize pools you must play a minimum of $80 in the Live Keno Tournament on Saturday.
  12. On “way” or straight ticket the maximum bet is $10 per way.
  13. One (1) or two (2) spot tickets can only be played as part of the way ticket and are limited to a maximum bet of  ten ($10) per way.
  14. Three (3) and four (4) spot straight tickets will have a maximum ten ($10) bet
  15. The following games are prohibited from the tournament:
    a. All preprogrammed games 1 through 5.
    b. One or Two spot straight tickets.
    c. 20 spot ticket.
    d. No coverall.
     
  16. Once a contest ticket (s) has been booked and the first game has been run, the ticket cannot be quit raced.
  17. All other Keno rules and procedures apply to contest play.
  18. Players must wear their name badge during tournament play and to redeem all tournament coupons.
  19. Bonus Ball:  The Friday night of the reception, each registered player will pick a numbered rubber ball from a drawing box.  The number on the ball will be recorded by the tournament staff.  The customer will then return the ball to the tournament staff.  At the end of the tournament a ball frequency report will be run. The contestant whose numbered ball was called the most times will win $150.  The contestant whose numbered ball was called the least amount of times will win $50.  In the event of a tie the prize will be split between the winners.
  20. There will be a free tournament draw
