Try your luck with the dice at a game of Craps! This is one of the most exciting games that Kewadin offers.
The game of Craps is played with two dice on a custom made table. The dice used in this game are created with strict guidelines and are replaced with new ones after about eight hours of use.
The game opens when one of the players or the “shooter” casts two dice the length of the table so that they strike the opposite wall. This action makes it impossible for anyone to control the outcome of the dice. In this game, any one of 36 number combinations can come up. The probability of a given combination actually occurring can be predicted statistically. This data gives us the odds that rule the game. These odds on individual bets in Craps vary from Even Money to 30 to 1.
The craps table can accommodate approximately 20 players. Each player will receive a chance to “shoot” the dice. If they do not want to “shoot” the dice, the player can bet on the thrower. The casino team on a Craps table consists of a stickman, boxman and two dealers.
The beginning of a new game starts with the roll of the dice and is called the Come Out roll. This happens when the previous shooter does not make a winning roll by failing to make the point or seven outs. If the first roller does not make their point, the dice are offered to the player to the left of the current shooter for a new Come Out roll.
The dice are rolled across the craps table layout that is divided into three areas: two sided areas separated by a center one. Both of the sides are identical and contain: Pass and Don't Pass line bets, Come and Don't Come bets, Odds bet, Place bets and Field bets. The center area is shared by both side areas and contains the Proposition bets.
Your betting options in the game of Craps are
| |
The Pass Line:
When you bet on the pass line, you are betting with the shooter. If the roll turns up a 7 or 11, you both win and the shooter retains the dice for another toss. If the dice show a 2, 3, or 12, you both lose. Any other number becomes the shooters and your “point”. The shooter continues to roll until your “point” comes again, and you both win. If a 7 appears before the point, you both lose your bets and the dice pass to the next player. |

| |
The Don’t Pass:
When betting on the Don’t Pass line, the game is reversed and you bet against the shooter. You lose if a 7 or 11 hit on the first roll and win on a 2 or 3. The number 12 produces a “stand-off” and nobody wins. If a 7 comes up before the shooter’s “point” you win. |
| |
|
| |
Come:
This allows you to bet the Pass Line any time after the shooter’s point is established. You can take the next number rolled as your “point”. After that, wins and losses are determined on the same basis as a Pass Line bet. |
| |
|
| |
Don’t Come:
This is the reverse of Come. Here, you are betting that a 7 will come up before the shooter’s “point”. |
| |
|
| |
Field:
With this bet, you have the option of betting on a number with each and every roll of the dice. If a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12 hit, you win. Both 2 and 12 pay double. On 5, 6, 7, or 8 you lose. The Field is a one-roll proposition. |
| |
|
| |
Big 6 or 8:
With this bet, you win if either a 6 or a 8 is rolled before the 7. |
| |
|
| |
Any 7:
This bet can be chosen on any roll of the dice and is a one-roll proposition. |
| |
|
| |
Any Craps:
If a 2, 3, or 12, turn up you win. This is a one-roll proposition. |
Hard Ways:
| |
|
The four “Hard Way” combinations are: |
| |
 |
Hard 4 – two 2’s |
| |
 |
Hard 6 – two 3’s |
| |
 |
Hard 8 – two 4’s |
| |
 |
Hard 10 – two 5’s |
They are called “Hard Ways” because the numbers must be made up of pairs. You win if your paired number combination is rolled before a 7 or its easy way (unpaired number) equivalent. The easy way equivalent to a Hard 6 would be (for example) a 5-1 or a 4-2 combination. These bets can be made at any time.

Bet the Horn:
If a shooter rolls a 2, 3, 11, or a 12, you win. This is a one-roll proposition. |
| |
|
| |
Place Bets:
This bet allows you to “place” a bet on any of the point numbers. You will be paid anytime the number is rolled before a 7. Rolling a 5 or 9 pay $7 for $5; rolling a 4 or 10 pays $9 for $5 and rolling a 6 or 8 pays $7 for $6. These bets can be beat on the Come Out only if called on by the player. |
| |
|
| |
Odds:
In addition to the Pass Line and Come bets, you can bet the Odds. This bet may be up to five times the wager made on the original bet. If the point is a 4 or 10, the House pays 2 to 1 on your Odds. Odds on the 5 and 9 pay 3 to 2 and Odds on a 6 and 8 pay 6 to 5. Odds can not be bet on the Come Out line. |
