Bring your fish to the casino for weigh in and you could win great prizes!
From May 15 - July 15 and then again from July 16 - September 15, Kewadin Hessel is having a fishing challenge with four divisions Salmon, Pike, Walleye and Perch.
The first challenge will end on July 15 with cash pay outs for 1st and 2nd place for each division. The second challenge will start up on July 16 and run until September 15 with cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place for each division.
Participant are also eligible for great prizes! All participants in the challenge will receive one entry for the prizes being drawn on September 15 by earning 100 points on their Northern Rewards Card between May 15 and September 15. Prizes will be drawn at 8:30 p.m. on September 15.
To celebrate the end of the challenge, Kewadin will host a special fish fry beginning at 4 p.m.
RULES FOR THE FISHING CHALLENGE:
Fisherman must have a Valid Fishing license either State or Tribal.
Fisherman must be 19 years or older to enter.
All fish will be weighed for pounds which will determine the winners. The length will also be measured and used as a tie breaker.
Registration is free. Fishermen will receive a button when you register plus a hat. Fisherman will receive a ticket to take to the Northern Rewards Club to receive a voucher for a $1.00 beer. This is limited to one per day.
Because this will be an annual event pictures will be taken to post on Kewadin Web site in order to promote following years event. Pictures of winner will also be place inside the casino for advertising.
Pictures of all fishermen with their catch will be displayed in Casino wall. ( possibly web site)
1ST PLACE 750 EACH FOR four divisions: Salmon, Pike, Walleye and Perch.
2ND PLACE 250 EACH FOR four divisions: Salmon, Pike, Walleye and Perch.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Participants must be or become a Northern Rewards Club member.
Fisherman must have a Valid Fishing license either State or Tribal.
Fisherman must be 19 years or older to enter.
EVENT/PROMOTION RULES:
This promotion is subject to cancellation at management’s discretion.
This promotion is subject to change at the review and approval of Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians Gaming Commission.
Customers must be present to win.
Participants agree to have their photo taken and their first name that Kewadin could use for marketing purposes only.
No Frozen Fish, no gill net fish, must be fresh preferably alive and must be line caught
Fish will be marked at weigh in and one fish per day per species
Kewadin Casino employees are eligible to participate if off the clock and out of uniform. Total prize value does not exceed $15,000.
Participants must be 19 years or older.
If a name is called and no winner is presented with in 5 minutes, another name will be drawn.
Any entry slip tampered with will be VOID.
Winner must be present for any drawing.
